Swiss Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 200g high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g unsalted butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- In a heatproof bowl, combine chopped dark chocolate, heavy cream, unsalted butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
- Stir the mixture continuously until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth and shiny.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool slightly, then whisk the mixture until it thickens to a spreadable consistency.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into a mold or a shallow dish lined with parchment paper.
- Let the chocolate cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
- Once set, remove the chocolate from the mold and cut it into small squares or bars.
