Ingredients:

  • 400g pasta of your choice

  • 250g cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 100g (1/2 cup) pesto sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the cherry tomatoes and toss to combine.
  5. Stir in the pesto sauce until the pasta is well coated.
  6. Serve the Pesto Cherry Tomato Pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
