Garlic Butter Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients:
- 400g pasta of your choice
- 100g (1/2 cup) butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 100g (1 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the dried parsley and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Serve the Garlic Butter Parmesan Pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
